advanced packet/connection marking

I want to do two kinds of marking:

- one for p2p/http/ftp/smtp/pop3 traffic
- one for load-balancing (routing decision)

I can put only one mark on the packet.

is there any way to analise lower 8 bits of mark in the tc script for traffic shaping, and analise only higher 8 bits of mark field when making routing decision?
