Hello, I would like to buy one of these to install Gentoo :

http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=3749&review=Lenovo+N200

Or the

http://www.toshiba.ca/web/product.grp?lg=en&section=1&group=1&product=5611&part=6100#spectop

I want the A100-Va7, it come with the spec of the Va9, but has a 160 Gig 5400 RPM, and a Intel 945GM for a video card instead of a GEFORCE and a 200 Gig 4200 RPM.

What should I do ?

I have an HP that I have gentoo on. Works flawlessly. BTW a Geforce 7300 doesn't have much power to it so don't expect it to run games all that well, however it'll run beryl just fine.

I've got a GeForce Go 7400 and while I do have some issues the only two games I (rarely, if ever) play (Starcraft, Warcraft III) run fine (OK, Starcraft does not really matter) . I remember having played through DX2 and NWN2 (gods, how was I disappointed) when I still had my preinstalled Windows some one and a half year ago. (NWN2 was even only half a year ago, I think)

But today I would go with the Intel card as its open source support is better ;)
