Hello,

i want to install the madwifi-ng package for my wireless card, but it fails to compile.
If i set the kernel-source symlink to gentoo-sources, the modules will be build.

Here is the error log:
Code:

Umm, where's the actual error? The warnings are common when building external modules, and the other messages are just generic "There was an error" stuff. Whatever broke, it's above the output here.

Hi there,

the problem is, that it fails to build the module !!

However, with gentoo-sources 2.6.20 the modules will be build normaly, and the driver works correct.
But i need the modules for my openvz system, and there it fails to compile.

Best regards,
Thomas

I know it didn't build. What I'm saying is you didn't post the actual error that is causing it to fail. What you posted is non-specific as to the cause, and thus not of any use.
