I spent a rather lengthy time this morning trying to get my sound to work, only to find out that it was working! Much to my dismay, it was using the intergrated soundcard of my crappy SB32 for my crappy P2 computer instead of the nice SBLive I had purchased earlier.
I'd really appreciate some help on the matter of using my sexy SBLive! Thank you, in advance :) |

Can you disable the onboard sound crontroller in the bios? _________________ The true guru is a teacher.

You have made me feel extremely stupid. Thank you! :D
I thought that it would be nice and automatic, like with my brother's computer, which decided to switch over to the soundcard without editing any bios options; I guess mine wanted to torment me. In other words, I'm a lazy prat that didn't think it out. |
