Greetings, I am trying to set up my wireless card, an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG. I've tried following the installation guide for the driver (available at: http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/), but when I tried to compile the driver itself it gave me a bunch of errors. So then I tried using ndiswrapper, which seemed to work, but when i ran ndiswrapper -l it listed the installed driver, but didn't say 'device present'. At the moment, I am attempting to follow the instructions here: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_ipw2200, but when I tried to emerge ieee80211, I got yet more errors:

ERROR: net-wireless/ieee80211-1.1.13.r1 failed.

...

Unable to make KSRC=/usr/src/linux KSRC_OUTPUT=/lib/modules/2.6.20-suspend2-r6/build modules.

As you can see, I am using the suspend2-sources. I believe I have the kernel configured properly for use with the ipw2200 driver. (At first, I had the in-kernel support turned on, but it didn't work either, which is why I'm trying all of this.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All right, I've also just tried using the instructions at http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_ipw2200 for building it into the kernel, but it won't even compile:

make[3]: *** No rule to make target 'drivers/net/wireless/ipw2200.c', needed by 'drivers/net/wireless/ipw2200.o'. Stop.
make[2]: *** [drivers/net/wireless] Error 2
make[1]: ***[drivers/net] Error 2
make: ***[drivers] Error 2

What is going on??
