hello ,
i seek for a 3D-benchmark that can be used on windows and linux .
it should have versions for both linux and windows , so you dont need to emulate anything and that you can
compare the 3d speed a bit...
maybe there exists something suitable .

greetings

Ive looked for one as well but i can't find one either. You can run time demos eg quake3 doom3 and can get mark out of them. 3d mark2001 dose a pretty good job under wine.

Unigine is a good one that works under linux and windows. I've yet to use it in windows though.

i have filled in a ebuild request :

https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=197817

i tested it, its realy nice

however does someone know a benchmark for linux thats like the windows ones ? something that is able to calculate cpu speed, hdd speed, graphic speed, ability to read out system specs like processor, chipset, cards ect ?

thx a lot

edit : i mean a graphical one , i know there are various text (console) benchmarks, but those a very uncomfortable ...
