|
|
* I'm using the radeon driver with my r200-based card. Works fine.
* Enemy territory starts up and then my screen says "Mode not supported".
* I used xorgconfig to set up xorg.conf with the correct values.
I noticed that ~/.etwolf/etmain/etconfig.cfg has the custom width/height of 1600x1024 while my display runs at 1280x1024 if that even matters. So I tried setting the etconfig.cfg width/height to 1280x1024 and even 1024x768 and that didn't help.
I tried toggling the opengl USE flag but that obviously doesn't matter.
Hmm. . .? _________________ --name="Zach"

Display depth may be not correct.
As I remember, ET wants to start with a display depth of 32Bit. |

Good call. I used the keyboard shortcut (function+alt+enter or something) to put et in windowed mode and then changed the color settings to 16 or 24 bit and then it happily goes back into fullscreen mode without the "mode not supported" monitor message.
Thanks again. _________________ --name="Zach" |
