I have a TI 83+ Silver Edition calculator that I'd like to use with Tilp. Tilp emerges fine, but when I try to run it I get this:

Then Tilp doesn't respond to any buttons pressed on the GUI. I tried installing tiglusb, but it won't compile. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Replying to this thread since this was the first error I came across.

As far as I know, Tilp 1 doesn't work at all with the silverlink usb cable. Doesn't seem to be anything for the kernel. I first had the gui error and compiled it myself to fix that. Then I realized the option in the kernel for the TI is for the parallel port. The separate driver doesn't compile and they say to use the built in support in the ti cables library. The ti cables library for tilp 1 doesn't have this support. At least I couldn't figure it out if it does.

Tilp2 works perfectly. 83+ and usb silverlink cable.

Hopefully this post will save someone time since I spent too many hours fiddling with tilp 1.
