is there any possibility to run something like a mail "server", which fetches my emails from the different postboxes (like gmx, hotmail, all this pop3 stuff) filter them locally in background and store them in maildir format, so when i get them with kmail i don't need to filter and i don't need to run kmail all time to download the mails on my locale machine ? |

getmail, or fetchmail + qmail or something similar. I don't know about gmx or hotmail, but pop3 and imap are supported. |
