Hello, just going through install docs for amd64 www.gentoo.org/doc/en/handbook/handbook-amd64.xml?part=1&chap=8 and think i may found error or things have changed?

Things have changed... but the baselayout wich brought these changes is quite a while in the past.
I cant't remember which version changed the way the domainname is handled.

Ok, been while since done a from scratch install, so domainname is now set /etc/conf.d/net ? _________________ Work Station - 64bit
