Ari Steinberg's modified version of wizzard's DynBar with elements of other projects - most notably a taskbar replacement a la OS X.
It's beautiful, easy to setup and well equipped.
Top class eyecandy/UI enhancement IMHO.
What are you using?
...Now... all i need is a nice looking System tray...

having played with karamba for a while I found it utterly useless in it's current form - it's to slow and it's to hard to make work as good as kicker does - but it can be pretty. |

Well, i've noticed no adverse side effects from using this bad boy at present. Though even on the link i posted, there are complaints about preformance...
I'm a p4, so maybe i'm not seeing the performance issues through the grunt of my processor...
Your milage may vary... |

I just find it too clumsy and inelegant setting up themes. When they make it properly themeable, like other KDE apps, I might return, but I left editing text files and copying bitmaps around behind a long time ago |

Although I think it is pretty clumsy trying to configure karamba, I think the end result is more than worth it. My main complaint is it is really buggy. Here is my attempt at karamba in blackbox. |

I'm using SuperKaramba to run an RSS/RDF feed on my desktop and the dang thing is slow as heck. If I get any more annoyed with it I'm either going to write an AIM bot that monitors news feeds or a GTK+ app. |

No, I will try to emerge that later. What is it exactly? The website appears to be down at the moment. Anything would probably be better than karamba since it is so buggy. |
