I have an old comp from before plug&pray, that I would like tio make use of. Now, last time i tried (and admittedly failed) to get it running, I used some 1-disk distro that probed all the isa cards, and then died showing what it had found, complete with all necessary settings. Does anyone know i such a thing still exists? The network card it has is completely unmarked when it comes to irqs and io settings. The comp obviously has no CD either...

How I do it: I boot windoze and look up the IO address in there. I know it isn't the right thing to do, but it's the easiest :-)

Yeah, well, windows CDs aren't exactly cheap to come by, and I am too lazy to go over to my parents house.
