When i try to lock the screen under kde i am getting the following error.

Will not lock the session, unlocking would be impossible: No appropriate greeter plugin configured

I fixed this once before but i forgot what package it was.

To lock screens you apparently need kdm installed, no need to use is though.

I'm unsure, is this worth a bugreport?
Where/when should I have looked to know this? Maybe some ebuild QA notice I didn't notice? :P

I don't think this needs a bug-report because if you install the correct kde-meta package you'll probably never run into this problem and if you don't install the meta, well expect some other 'strange' problems.

I'm not sure how I found it, probably by looking into the source, but it could be some google searching too.

The simple solution is to install kde-base/kdm.
