running kde 3.5.5-r10 stable, everytime that I turn the computer on, my icons arent in the same place, they are allways abit up

I too have noticed the icon shuffle, mostly when I use my second monitor while I'm at work.
I've now taken to locking them in place to stop them from migrating south for the winter all together.
Right click on your desktop -> Icons -> "Lock in place"
Not a solution, but hey, it works
