I'm having a weird problem I can't really understand. I'm using Squid as a tranparant proxy.
But some websites give trouble. When people try to visit them, they'll get this error in their browser:

This page cannot be loaded because of a problem with the Web site.
the server "www.website.com" is redirecting in a way that will never complete.

When I bypass Squid, the page does not give any trouble at all. So I figure the problem is in Squid.
Does someone know what might be the problem?

Any chance you could paste the offending lines from your access logs ?
That might help with finding the problem....

Perhaps highlight the issue in the log for us as just pasting the log file
isn't going to help us at all.

That's why I can't figure out why I get this error in my browser and I ask for help...

| It looks to me like the browser's making a request for "http://www.nrc.nl/digitaleeditie/today.html", receiving a redirect to "http://www.nrc.nl/action?", which in turn is redirecting back to "http://www.nrc.nl/digitaleeditie/today.html", and so on ad infinitum. It may be that "http://www.nrc.nl/digitaleeditie/today.html" should actually be returning something different at the second access, but squid seems to be caching the 302 (I'm not sure it should be doing this as 302 is only a temporary redirect - is this specifically set in the config?) so never refetching the page. |

I did a little test to see if you are right. And it seems you are!
I disabled the caching of Squid. After that the site would load without any trouble.
