Salve a tutti
avevo intenzione di "piallare" la mia Gentoo per re-installare da capo la distribuzione. Nessun problema ... a parte il backup della posta elettronica di Mozilla Thunderbird. Ho cercato sul forum e ho trovato questa pratica soluzione per il contenuto delle mail, ma mi chiedevo se c'era qualcosa che si potesse fare per salvare anche tutte le impostazioni, le regole e i filtri vari.

se vuoi ricominciare da capo anche con le impostazioni di thunderbird mi pare che per firefox avevavno iniziato a sviluppare un plugin per importare/esportare tutto, selettivamente è ovvio. Prova a cercare su mozdev.

Apri thunderbird e va su impostazioni account-> <tuo_account> -> Impostazioni server e al fondo c'è la voce Cartella locale. In quella cartella là ci sono tutte le tue email. Ti è sufficente copiare quella e quando reinstalli thunderbird farla puntare di nuovo lì.
Se invece vuoi salvare tutte le impostazioni ~/.thunderbird è la cartella da copiare[/i] |
