Bonjour à tous !
J'ai un nouveau problème, qui concerne cette fois mon disque dur...
Voilà, j'ai installé hier sur ma machine l'ancien disque dur de la machine de ma soeur, or il me pose quelques problèmes.
Au démarrage de Gentoo, j'obtiens plusieurs fois :

Et il y en a plein comme ca.
Pourtant, je n'ai jamais eu de problème de DMA avec le premier disque dur, qui lui fonctionne à merveille, et je me suis assuré dans le BIOS qu'il était activé pour les deux disques durs.
Une idée, à part jeter ce DD qui fonctionne pourtant ?[/quote] |

Essaye de voir ce que te retournes smart comme infos sur le disque. Si jamais tu ne l'as pas c'est le paquet :

[EDIT]Je précise que c'est smartctl qu'il faut utiliser pour un compte-rendu rapide.
Par exemple, si ton disque est /dev/hda, tu pourras faire la commande :

Ce qu'il sera intérêssant de voir c'est s'il y a des erreurs de présentes déjà, s'il y a des erreurs il sera intérêssant de lancer un self-test sur le disque pour qu'il t'indique la durée de vie estimée du disque. |

Déjà ton disque rapporte des erreurs, donc il n'a pas l'air en très grande forme.
Ce que tu peux faire en complément, c'est lui faire faire un test, avec la commande :

Cela te donnera les résultats d'un test rapide (d'autres types de tests sont possibles mais autant faire celui là en premier).
Le type de résultat intérêssant sera ce genre de lignes :

Comme tu vois, c'est le résultat sur mon disque, pas d'erreurs et durée de vie encore lointaine. Sur le tiens, on voit qu'il a fait des tests qui ont rapportés des erreurs ou qui n'ont pas pu allés à leur terme, donc c'est pour ça qu'il serait intérêssant d'en forcer un pour voir le résultat du dernier test smart sur ton disque. |
