Hi,
I am trying to get the temperature of my hd displayed in gkrellm.
I have hddtemp installed and it works:
Quote: | # /usr/sbin/hddtemp /dev/sda
/dev/sda: FUJITSU MHV2120BH: 39°C |
The config of hddtemp looks this way:
Quote: | # cat /etc/conf.d/hddtemp
# Copyright 1999-2006 Gentoo Foundation
# Distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License v2
# $Header: /var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/app-admin/hddtemp/files/hddtemp-conf.d,v 1.3 2006/07/15 01:11:28 spock Exp $
# the hddtemp executable
HDDTEMP_EXEC=/usr/sbin/hddtemp
# various options to pass to the daemon
HDDTEMP_OPTS="-l 127.0.0.1"
# a list of drives to check
HDDTEMP_DRIVES="/dev/sda" |
But gkrellm shows for the sda device only 0.0C. I am not using the hddtemp-plugin but the built-in mechanism.
What might cause the trouble? Expected a permission problem, but even for root gkrellm shows 0.0C ...
