Hi guys
Twice in the last few days I've come back to my machine from a toilet/tea break to find myself staring at the GDM login screen. This wouldn't be a problem, but both times I'd left myself logged in and I know noone else has access to my machine (its at home).
I've not encountered any power problems so it appears my machine is either rebooting without asking me or its logging me out.
Any ideas as to what the problem could be? Or which parts of which logs I should be looking at?
Thanks

A faulty screensaver that makes your X server crash?
I that case, the xdm init script would restart X, and show you the gdm login screen.

Take a look at /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old _________________ Unanswered Post Initiative | Search | FAQ
