I am editing the /etc/make.conf at the moment and I am not 100% sure which architecture my CPU is based off of. I have a Celeron 400 PPGA type processor. I am thinking that it is based off of the 586 arch, but I am not sure. Can someone shed some light on this for me. I have searched on the net, but didn't find anything giving that information.
Thanks |

586 refers to the original Pentium chips. The Celeron chips are based on the 686 line.
