pinnacle hybrid pro - em2880-dvb.c: unsupported device

hi!
I need help with it. I stayed till really late last night. I tried everything, but still doesnt work.

I bought a Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro 330e. I followed this http://mcentral.de/wiki/index.php/Em2880. I can watch analog tv using xawtv and mplayer. The Audio work around i got it from http://mcentral.de/wiki/index.php/Talk:Em2880
But i can't wach digital tv (dvb-t). Here is my dmeg:

Well, http://mcentral.de/wiki/index.php/Em2880 says this: "Pinnacle Hybrid Pro Stick (330e) Micronas drx3975d dvb-t demodulator is currently not supported" - could that have something to do with it not working?

yeah, i think the digital part (dvb-t) is not (yet) supported

Well I actually got it to work under 2.6.21-r4 by using the procedure described in :

IMPORTANT:
Download the file into /lib/firmware, then extract them with

sudo tar zxvf filename.tar.gz

Getting and installing the driver

Create a folder somewhere convenient.

mkdir driver

Now, go into that directory and type

hg clone http://mcentral.de/hg/~mrec/v4l-dvb-kernel

Which will download a copy of the driver sources to your directory.

Compiling:

cd v4l-dvb-kernel
make sudo
make install

Not very gentoo like but it worked

However following the same procedure in 2.6.22-r2 I get the error:

Dear all,

as far as I know CONFIG_VIDEO_DEV and CONFIG_DVB should not be set for your internal kernel config if you want to use external v4l-dvb sources. Otherwise you will get inconsistencies and mixes in the modules: Modules of the internal kernel v4l-dvb sources and the external v4l-dvb sources are not compatible to each other (the latter replace the first). So I configured the Kernel as follows and it worked for me (I have a Pinnacle PCTV Hybrid Pro (2/ 330e) with drx3975d DVB-T demodulator chip):

Ensure that previously compiled and installed kernel modules are removed:

Markus has done pretty good work with the driver. It's working on ubuntu and, apparently, on debian. I don't know, if it means on gentoo too.
The analogue part works for me good. Not the best. e.g. I have mono audio, can't use teletext (i live in germany).
I don't know, if now, everything works like it should.
