Hi,
I,m running isc-dhcpd-3.03-r9 "-doc -minimal (-selinux) -static".
After a while it hangs. The clients a doing their requests, but there is no reaction nor any log.
Running /etc/init.d/dhcpd restart every 30-minutes is not the first-class solution.
What's going wrong?
bye

I'm having a similar issue, however it's only really isolated to one server out of the many
we have out there. I've tried running dhcpd in the foreground, however this hasn't
helped in finding the issue.
Would be nice to find the answer to this one.

If the logs don't provide any hint... You could try tracing the process execution (with both strace and ltrace). Sometimes you can find the answer there... _________________ Javier Miqueleiz
