Hello,
I've a weird problem with apache ... it seems to doesn't find htdocs directory.
When my gentoo is booting i get a weird message about a Virutal Host that is not found and when i run firefox to go to 127.0.0.1 i get that thing :
"The request URL / not found on this server."
When i look inside /var/log/apache2/error_log i get that :
"File does not exists : /usr/htdocs" wheras inside the httpd.conf file there is nothing speaking about htdocs repertory ....
Do you know how resolve the problem?
Thanks,

This error normally indicates that you have a virtual host without a defined document root. Please check your configuration |

Ok, i find the problem.
I've "commented" this line : "Include /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/*.conf" and add this line :
DocumentRoot "/var/www/localhost/htdocs" and now it's resolved.
bye, |
