KNetworkManager and Ndiswrapper

I got my broadcom Air Force One chip working through networkmanager. Oddly, networkmanager can connect to my WPA-PSK secured network, but running wpa_supplicant manually cannot.

Anyways, I have two questions:

1) How can I get my network to appear in KNetworkManager as a trusted network? There is nothing on the list of trusted and untrusted networks.

2) Sometimes my connection will drop at random, usually within two minutes of connecting. But sometimes it will stay strong until I disconnect. Any ideas what could be causing this?
