Try:
Code:
rc-update show

to see if dbus is placed in any runlevel. If it doesn't try as root:
Code:
/etc/init.d/dbus start
rc-update add dbus default

Good luck.

try different engine versions? it could be possible that the one you are using doesn't work with wow...

edit: perhaps check the wow thread, there might be extra settings you need. :?:

You could try wine to play it. Just add -opengl to the command and it will probably run fine, maybe even better than with cedega. Wine has surpassed Cedega for many games by now so you should give it a go ;). It's free, too. Just emerge wine and try "wine /home/drpepper/WoW/WoW.exe -opengl" or "wine Z:\\home\\drpepper\\WoW\\WoW.exe -opengl"

AFAIK, only cedega v6 are affected

Use cedega v5 which don't use DBUS or wine as previously suggested.

btw, do you have the X use flag enabled?

I think he should just use Wine, for three simple reasons:
1. Wine is free
2. It integrates better into a linux desktop
3. If it works it usually has better performance, afaik
