I've had cdrdao working great in the past to backup my cd's, but, it is blowing up now on this latest cd...
Has anyone seen this before?

Cdrdao version 1.1.7 - (C) Andreas Mueller <andreas@daneb.de>
SCSI interface library - (C) Joerg Schilling

Check http://cdrdao.sourceforge.net/drives.html#dt for current driver tables.
Using libscg version 'andreas-0.5-UNIXWARE_Patch'

Using driver: Generic SCSI-3/MMC - Version 2.0 (options 0x0000)

Is the cd too long for cdrdao to copy?
Thanks in advance...

No one has had this problem?
I saw another on here with similar problem....but no resolution to it...still lookin for an answer.
Any pointers or links where I might could find answers?
Are there CD's that cdrdao won't copy? Some kind of weird formatting?
Thanx,

Well, it turns out that upgrading the version helped.
I'd not found much on this error, but, some things I did find...seemed to indicate problems with older versions and 'subchannels'.
I upgraded to version 1.2.1, and it is now running.
I think this part that it prints on screen (I don't know what it means) is the key part of the new version working:
Quote: | PQ sub-channel reading (audio track) is supported, data format is BCD.
Raw P-W sub-channel reading (audio track) is supported.
Cooked R-W sub-channel reading (audio track) is supported.
|
Anyway, if anyone has this problem....maybe this will help.
This is on and OLD box that I need to update at some point, but, still on the run 2 years after Katrina....just no time to sit and redo the whole thing like it needs...
