AMD TURION 64 (and) MAKE.CONF cflag question

i havea amd turion64, i wanarun a 64bit linux, what do i type in the make.conf cflag (-march)

AND

is it worth to run 64bit gentoo, i mean is there a big support for 64, (application/game) wise?

I think it's worth it. Some applications may see a speedup, some may stay the same, and some may even be slower. But there are no hitches really, so I'm fine with it.

-march=k8
should work fine.
