I see MANY posts to this effect. Is there an answer out there? I go through this EVERYTIME I upgrade my kernel!

| I never had such problems with 2.6.21 kernels but I have used patched kernels, kamikaza, viper sources... At the moment I am using lates ragnarok-sources (2.6.22) and vmware overlay for vmware-server and vmware-modules, so you could try that overlay and see if that helps. |
