| Ok this started pretty recently. First off, my ipod was acting fine, i manage it with amarok and one day it wouldn't allow me to transfer any files to it. It just said it failed transferring a file. at first i thought it might be my iPod but then later i was transferring some stuff to a USB pen drive. It let me copy things onto it but when i moved stuff to the trash (i'm using gnome btw) and then try to empty the trash it says its a read only file system. I'm hoping these problems are related. If someone has any idea whats going on here i would greatly appreciate it. Also if you need any more info on my setup just ask. thanks in advance |

| Edit: i forgot to mention my iPod is connected via firewire. |
