Just realised that I can't open .mng files with Gimp. Is it possible to open them with Gimp or should I use another app? Or what can I do to make Gimp open .mng files? I've read that it has mng support. |

Almost certainly, you installed it without MNG support (mng USE flag). Add the flag to package.use: /etc/portage/package.use: | media-gfx/gimp mng | (or, if the media-gfx/gimp line is already there, add mng to it). Then re-merge Gimp (emerge -1avN media-gfx/gimp). _________________ Plants are pithy, brooks tend to babble--I'm content to lie between them.

Thanks, but I already did that. Didn't work though I expected it to do so. I'm just running a minor update with the new use flags just in case I missed some other package. |

After compiling Gimp with the mng use flag I can save as .mng but still not open them. |
