Hi, I tried to install KDE with the instructions of the Handbook but now i got this Error Image of the Error the executed Command was: emerge kdebase-meta Here are my make.conf Settings Image of the make.conf File I hope somebody can help me. with best regards Thomas

Ok, in the file '/etc/portage/package.use' you need to add the following line:

sys-apps/pciutils -zlib

Then execute this one:

Code:

emerge -1 pciutils

Then try to emerge kde-meta again

P.S.
No idea what's the actual problem with usage of this flag, to be honest. Searching bugs.gentoo.org might provide an answer.
