When the kde screensaver starts kdesktop_lock, and then the screen becomes locked, what process exactly is it that returns your desktop after you enter your password? _________________ Billy DeVincentis |

What Im trying to do is get a script together that will kill compiz upon activation of kdesktop_lock and reload it after its been deactivated, I can kill compiz and have it go to kwin upon the process kdesktop_lock starting but Im a little iffy on reloading it.
I have been having random freezes with beryl and compiz, well I got it to stop freezing with beryl, but the new compiz-fusion is just something else but it freezes after sitting a while, by replacing kdesktop_lock with a script that points to a renamed kdsektop_lock1 and activates both killall compiz && kdesktop_lock1, but I am trying to figure out a way to invoke compiz-fusion reloading after logging in from screensaver _________________ Billy DeVincentis |
