wpa?

Try scanning your surrounding wifi networks. Try changing your wifi channel to a less used channel.

Hi

It is a known problem. see this thread https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-537734-highlight-rt2500.html

and especially Psycho dad replies rt2500-b4-patch.gz

For me it rocks.

What you have to do in the futur, in case you recompile you kernel for some reasons. after the module-rebuild populate and the module-rebuild rebuild, re do the rt2500-b4-patch.gz procedure. Keep it is safe directory

Hi,
I have the same problem with instable connections using the rt2500 driver.

darkangel, could you please tell a little bit more about your steps you've done ? Which kernel version, driver version have you used? I've tried here several things, but nothing could handle the instability of the wireless connection.

Thanks in advance
