hi,
i have a problem with my dvd-rw, is working really slow, up to 1mbyt/sec
my lspci:
Code: | IDE interface: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88SE6101 single-port PATA133 interface (rev b1) |
it is detected as /dev/sr0
i guess scsi, any ideeas why it is working so slow ? in windows xp works fine |

do you have the correct drivers enabled in your kernel? _________________ ....though I am already in my pajamas. |

I have the same interface. Enable "Marvel PATA support via legacy mode" in "Device Drivers"->"Serial ATA (prod) and Parallel ATA (experimental) drivers". _________________ StasK |

if the driver is loaded as module is ok (2-5mb/s), if it is in kernel is working worh 1mb/s |
