I haven't had any problems patching in wine personally , but I didn't try in the beginning (used vmware for em). |

I've been running WoW through wine for some time now and I've never had a problem with fps, sound, or updating. I'm running amd64, 2G RAM, 2x6800 XT's in SLi mode. I actually moved my WoW installation over to my ext3 part. I'm not even sure why I still have winblows on my machine. I thought I'd keep it around for games and maybe a few apps, but I've found apps to replace the windows apps and the only game I really play is WoW and occasionally Doom3 when I feel the need to shoot something |
