I dont really know if it's the system or if its the package it's wrong with. I tried to emerge gcc since the g++ compiler was missing, so emerge'ed gcc but after a while i got this error:

I don't see anything in particular. Any Cyrix folks out there?
Did you try removing the optimization flag (-O3)? |

Does thin mean you compiled your kernel for an i686? If so, you may want to change that. I also see 3dnow in your use flag, while your cpuinfo doesn't show 3dnow support. |
