Clean the contacts by vigorously rubbing the electrical contacts on the printed circuit board with a pencil eraser. Tape the 16K RAM pack to the computer to prevent loss of contact due to accidental movement.

Just tried it here. Works fine with the first mirror listed (http://mirror.mcs.anl.gov/pub/gentoo/). Maybe pick different mirrors?

Actually, you should sync. I just noticed that the file has changed, as the version of libpaper in portage has changed:
