Bonjour,
Je viens d'acheter ce boîtier externe
j'y ai installé 2 DD IDE, l'un est branché en master l'autre en slave
sous windows aucun pb je vois bien les 2 disques dur, mais sous linux je ne vois que le disque master

donc à travers sdhx j'accède au donné du disque maitre. Aucun souci de ce côté là, mais comment acceder au disque esclave ??
s'il vous faut d'autre infos n'hésitez pas à me les demander !

EDIT nouveaux pb :
J'accède maintenant à mes 2 disques dans le boitier externe, en lecture nikel ça marche bien, mais en écriture ça déconne : pendant le 5 première secondes la copie est relativement rapide, puis tout le système saccade !
Un top m'indique que le %wa est au max et que le load average explose !!
J'ai fait également le test avec un autre DD externe (WD mybook de tete) et là c'est encore pire le DD n'est même plus reconnu sous linux. un dmesg m'indique :

et sous windows j'ai aussi des soucis de détection (périf de masse connecter à un concentrateur bas débit, je fais d'autre essai avec une petite bidouille )
quelqu'un à une idée d'où peut provenir ces problèmes ? je précise que les mêmes symptomes se retrouve sur un autre ordinateur avec kubuntu.

J'ai 2 partitions sur le disque maîtres et 2 sur le disques esclaves
c'est le même souci sur tout les ports usb

Comme c'est de l'"usb-storage", le traitement se fait en SCSI, même si les disques sont en IDE.
As-tu pensé à activer l'option "Probe all LUNs on each SCSI device (SCSI_MULTI_LUN)" dans le noyau ? |

bon j'ai l'impression que je vais abandonné ce boitier
en prendre 1 en firewire serait plus judicieux je suppose ? (voir même ethernet... ça me botterait bien mais un peu cher je trouve ) |
