I am trying to update my ati-drivers but am running into the following error.

Code:
>>> Downloading 'https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/linux//ati-driver-installer-8-3-x86.x86_64.run'

           => `/usr/portage/distfiles/ati-driver-installer-8-3-x86.x86_64.run'

I think I remember seeing something about maybe having certificate problems when I updated something a few days ago but I cant for the life of me remember what it was. I should pay more attention. Still learning :(

two things, edit the ebuild and remove the https to just http, and then run `emerge <path to ebuild' digest` and then emerge, or edit our make.conf so that it uses wget with the --no-check-certificate option.

also note :: you can try it again , it seems it is on the gentoo mirrors now, so getting it from there will also bypass the problem.
