|
|
Got a small problem which is more of an inconvenience than anything else. I logged in today to find my Trash icon on my desktop (which is drawn by Nautilus) was no longer a trash icon. It's icon has changed to that of a plain text file the contents of which are
Code: |
[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Trash
Type=X-nautilus-trash
URL=trash:
X-Nautilus-Icon=gnome-fs-trash-empty |
which seems fine to me. I can no longer drop files on to it to be deleted. I can still access my trash by typing 'trash://' in the address bar in Nautilus. If I delete the file Nautilus just puts it back on my desktop when I login again. The file at the momet has permissions of 700 (ie only the user can rwx).
Any ideas what the problem is? |

I've still got this irritation! Anyone with any ideas? All my other icons are fine it's just my Trash icon which is messed up. Changing to a different Icon theme does not help. Is there anyway to 'reset' the desktop icons?? |
