Hello,
maybe I'm a total 14m33r but the hibernate-cleanup script doesn't do it's magic for me (for Grub). I have enabled all Grub related options in common.conf Quote: | ChangeGrubMenu yes
GrubMenuFile /boot/grub/menu.lst
AlternateGrubMenuFile .../menu-suspended.lst
BackupGrubMenuFile .../menu.lst.hibernate.bak | When I hit hibernate the system goes down. Then when I power up again and boot, I have a nice grub menu msg saying it's suspended. And then when I reboot (after booting form suspended state), the msg in grub menu is still on (why?).
And one more thing: it seems that resume from ram disables my swap partition. Beacuse if I want to go hibernate (to disk) after hibernate-ram, it pops up an error saying it can't find swap. When I do swapon, it works.
Thanks for your help, I hope you can understand me. |
