hello i have installed NetworkManager on a gentoo gnome computer
but i have the following problem:
->i need to have the wifi interface(ralink rt2500) up to find the network
->i can't connect with NetworkManager but with /etc/init.d/net.ra0 start |

I'm having a rt61 and the Network Manager isn't working either
Maybe you could try RutilT, which was designed for the Ralink chipsets...

it's for someone that has difficulties using the computer...so network manager is better
but this utility is great...it even display the mac of the ap.,,
mabe i should try network manager with a rt2500 on ubuntu but installing ubuntu is not an option on this computer |
