|
|
Hi!
Today i found this here on kdeapps:
http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/K750i+++W800+++D750+Amarok+Control+Profile?content=45012
i'd love to try it out, but i don't know how... i searched all the HowTos but found no solution, so i ask
i can easily connect by bluetooth to my mobile phone and upload files ("like as if it was a normal USB-Stick or a floppy-Disk").
But i don't know
- where to put the .hid-File
- where to find the "bluetooth obex push client"
That's how it looks like:
http://theageofsound.de/uploads/bluetooth.png
the first works flawlessly, the second is opened like a file konqueror doesn't know what to do with.
i use KDE 3.5.7 with split ebuilds.
Any help would be apreciated _________________ http://www.MySpace.com/TheAgeOfSound - my band

Hi
In konqueror when you click on the OBEX Object Push icon, you should get the window asking you
"open with kbtobexclient".
This file belongs to the kdebluetooth package.

Hi! Thanks for the answer.
When i click on the "OBEX Object Push" Icon, a dialog opens saying this:
http://theageofsound.de/uploads/bluetooth.png
When i click "open with ..." a window pops up saying:(roughly translated from german, the numbers are 100% correct)
Also I don't have kbtobexclient installed:
Code: | [hauke@hauke-gentoo]/home/hauke->kbtobexclient
bash: kbtobexclient: command not found
[hauke@hauke-gentoo]/home/hauke->emerge -pv kdebluetooth
These are the packages that would be merged, in order:
Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild R ] net-wireless/kdebluetooth-1.0_beta6 USE="arts -debug -xinerama" 0 kB
Total: 1 package (1 reinstall), Size of downloads: 0 kB
[hauke@hauke-gentoo]/home/hauke-> |
What can i do now? _________________ http://www.MySpace.com/TheAgeOfSound - my band |

kbtobexclient belongs to kdebluetooth-1.0-beta3 at least...
I checked the package itself from the site http://bluetooth.kmobiletools.org
And when I run
Code: |
equery b kbtobexclient |
it points to kdebluetooth.

It was the version - i installed beta2 now (beta3 didnt't want) and it has kbtobexclient installed. Strange, but now it works, thanks _________________ http://www.MySpace.com/TheAgeOfSound - my band |
