Damn Small Linux comes with a streamlined version of firefox based on GTK1.2, but not needing GNOME, and also an upgraded version of Dillo which has tabs. I need a light browser for a sub-notebook I'm getting- and because of the small screen I would want tabs. Is there any way of getting one's hands on either of these builds on their own? Can they be ported from a DSL disc, and if so, how? |

http://www.geocities.com/ikbenfrank/ is the modified version of dillo.
As for Firefox, I suspect they are using an old version (1.0.x), because I don't believe the new versions can be built against gtk+-1.2. _________________ www.gentoo.org.au || #gentoo-au |
