After updating the udev, the /dev/sda is not created automatically when I plug in my usb stick. How to fix that or where should I look into? Thanks!

Hi!
Easy mistakes first: Have you done a etc-update?
Else: Have you updated your kernel? Then you should check if usb support is still in it.
Anything about it in /var/log/messages when you connect the stick? |
