I have a strange problem: When I'm using Konsole I can't type a ~ symbol (pressing space doesn't help). This problem only occurs when using Konsole with X.
Mozilla, Text-Editors,... are no problem. And when I switch to other screens I can type a ~ either. Very very strange...
I would have added some extra info e.g. a config-file, but I don't know which one is to blame. |

If Code: | setxkbmap -model pc105 | solves your problem, you should check the InputDevice Section in /etc/X11/XF86Config

Thank you all! It really was something in the XF86Config. After I changed it to:
Code: | # Then to change the language, change the Layout setting.
# For example, a german layout can be obtained with:
# Option "XkbLayout" "de"
# or:
Option "XkbLayout" "de"
Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys" |
everything is fine now! |
