The minimal iso install, can't seem to access the network (even though drivers are all in).
The liveCD iso can access the network, but dies while installing. (some perl problem that is beyond me).
Any other options? I'm stuck. |

OK, well what did you do to configure networking with the minimal CD? _________________ Thomas S. Howard |

net-setup
I also copied the modules installed onto the hard disk from the live CD, (which could access the network) and modprobed them in the minimal one. They all installed fine, but no luck.
/etc/init.d/net.eth0 restart (over and over with different net-setup configurations).
dhcpcd eth0 (just waited).
There are two ports, the first one is a firewire 1394, and the second one is (I think) a blue tooth.
Ubuntu, studio64, and gentoo live find the first one. |
