Hello,
I've been asked to build a server with the following specs:
* web content filter with user authentication (using an existing windows domain controller), reports, bells and whistles
* proxy server for all the main protocols
* network/bandwidth usage with real time alarms sent via email or sms (I already have a snpp server)
* all the logs must be kept (except payload) in a secure form (one file per day, encrypetd, signed and so on)
* web interface for all the above (except for the logs)
* initial user base is about 50 people
do you have any recommendation about the software I should use to have an "install and forget about it" solution ?
thanks |

either way you do it, it will probably involve squid.

thanks bunder, I think squid + squidguard will be the core of the system. What's about an admin/reporting web gui ? is there something like this ? |
