Hi, I'm trying to follow the ALSA guide at http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/alsa-guide.xml and when I get to the part where I add my "pci" sound card, I get stuck. My card is not in the list. It is an onboard sound card that comes with my DFI motherboard: http://www.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_product_spec_details_r_us.jsp?PAGE_TYPE=US&PRODUCT_ID=4716&SITE=US

Any help would be awesome :)

Realtek "High-definition audio" chips are compatible with Intel's Azalia HDA standard, so the hda_intel driver is what you are looking for - CONFIG_SND_HDA_INTEL using the in-kernel version.
