Kann mann eigentlich bei Gentoo die ganze Festplatte verschlüsseln?
Und dann beim booten entschlüsseln?
geht das irgendwie? |

Hallo,
nur weil ich heute gut gelaunt bin:
Root-Verschlüsselungen geht mit dm_crypt und einer angepassten (selbstgeschriebenen) initrd.
Das klappt auch super in Kombination mit LVM und/oder Software RAID.
Die Konfiguration läuft hier auf zwei Rechnern super, ohne Performane-Einbußen, außer beim Wirklichen provozieren mit dd.
Für weitere Infos aber bitte das Forum, Google oder (am besten) das Gentoo Wiki befragen.
